Back to the blogging life & 300 followers!!

Hey everyone!

Hope you guys are doing great! I’m finally back on WordPress after a 3 week hiatus and I really missed you guys! ❤ I just came back from vacation and am fatigued with dizziness and jet lag so will probably be a bit slow in catching up with blog posts. So I told you guys that I will let you know my vacation spot after returning home to keep it as a suspense. I visited Madrid & Barcelona, Spain for about 4 days and then went to South India for about 2 weeks to visit my grandparents.

Overall, I definitely did have a good trip but I did experience a few disappointments here and there. It was a hectic trip since I went to 4 different cities, changed about 7 hotels, and travelled on 9 flights lol! Definitely there were struggles involved but had a fun and memorable time. Madrid was my favorite and the city was just amazing, filled with incredible architecture engraved on buildings. Barcelona was also such a beautiful city and I got to visit some of the major attractions such as the Park Guell and the Sagrada Familia.

There was an incident that really disappointed me. As I was sitting in the cafe drinking coffee at 2pm in the afternoon, I hung my huge floral handbag on the side of my chair. I’ve been checking it every 2 minutes and in a flash of a second, some thief just stole my whole handbag which had some money and my brand new iPhone! I was in shock and wasn’t able to find out the person who stole my bag. I tried contacting the police and took several hours to claim a report but the police men were of no help 😦 It took a few days to realize that my bag was actually gone and felt pretty naked without my phone and wallet. There was nothing that I could’ve done and just borrowed my dad’s phone for the rest of the trip. Since I lost my phone, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to read and catch up with all of your blog posts. I somehow was able to download the Instagram app so was pretty happy and I was able to keep in touch with most of you on there 🙂 Other than that, I really did enjoy the city so if you haven’t visited Spain, this a place on your bucket list for next time 🙂

I travelled to the city of Chennai and Bangalore in South India. The city was suffocated by pollution and a heat of a 105 degrees F so did some shopping and stayed in the hotel most of the time. I got to spend a good amount of time with my grandparents and it was totally a nice experience! So yeah, that was my trip and now back home in DC, sleeping all day due to jet lag. My next or a few posts later will probably be about my travel experience to Spain so will try to post some enjoyable pictures of my trip! I’ve got to say but it definitely feels good to be back home! 🙂

I’m currently on 330 followers and 1,370 total likes and as always, you are guys are incredibly amazing and thank you all of your support and care ❤ I really appreciate the heart warming encouragement from you all! I’m still on summer vacation but will be starting my next course in my Masters program in July so I have a month to just relax and prepare. I’m gonna try to catch up on all of your blog posts before I post my next one!
