Hey my lovely friends!
Hope you all are having a fantastic week! As mentioned in my previous post, just to recap, I went on vacation for the past 3 weeks to Spain and India and thought I could share some shots I captured during my travel 🙂 I will be splitting this travel post into 3 parts: First part would be pictures of the main attractions that I visited in Barcelona. The second part would be pictures of attractions and the streets of Madrid and last but not lease the third part will be a few photos of the beautiful city of Bangalore and Chennai in India!
Just an FYI, despite the unexpected theft of my phone and belongings in Barcelona, I’m so happy that my photos were backed up on my iCloud 🙂 Also, this is my first travel post so hope you guys enjoy it 🙂
Let’s get started with Barcelona first! As you know, Spain is the widely popular for its incredible architecture so will be posting pics in a slideshow form (wait for the next photo just in case you miss it since the slideshow is kinda slow lol) to portray Spain’s astounding forms of modern and historic architectural buildings 🙂
So the first stop was the Casa Milà or La Pedrera building and is known for its famous modern structure in Barcelona!
Another one of the city’s major and most popular modern structures is the Sagrada Família! It’s basically a basilica or a church for worship, built by a well renowned artist and architect, Gaudi. It has been built in 1883 and is still under construction even today. Wasn’t able to view the inside of the temple but was just mesmerized by its astonishing structure. Was just amazed how the historical forms and expressions were carved and detailed to portray the Gothic style culture!
As we were touring around the beautiful city of Catalonia, Barcelona, we took a quick stop to view Park Güell which is a gorgeous landscape of mind-blowing views and gardens and was also built by Gaudi. As we short of time, we weren’t able to go inside but here are a few pics of the different iconic structures surrounding the natural park!
Next stop was one of the football stadiums in the city of Barcelona! Stunning isn it?
Just captured a few wonderful architectural buildings along the trip…just so alluring and impressive!
Here all the photos I was able to capture in Barcelona. There aren’t too much since I had only a day to sightsee most of the city but there are a lot more pics in Madrid since we had about 3 days to explore the city!
To clarify again, part 2 will be about Madrid and Part 3 will have India pics!
Hope you guys enjoyed this post and would appreciate some feedback since this is my first travel post in my travel diaries! PS. I’ve travelled a lot more places in the past few years so need to catch up on those and write a blog post about them…coming up later in a few months 🙂

I love this. The photos are so great. I really want to go to Barcelona, I’m so close and have never been. I’m sorry your things were stolen, that must have been so bad. You need to be really careful in European cities, especially as a tourist. I can’t wait for part 2. 🙂 ❤

No worries and yes, I visited Europe after such a long time and didn’t realize it but def a lesson learned and def gonna be extra careful anywhere I go haha. You should def visit Barcelona since its worth the visit..the architecture is just amazing! Awesome, will prob post Part 2 sometime this weekend 🙂

Great first travel post! I am hoping to visit Spain and Portugal next year. Spain looks like such an amazing country. It really sucks about losing your phone, but thankfully the images were backed up. I look forward to reading the rest.

Spain should def be on your bucket list next esp Madrid and Barcelona..such a beautiful country and a must see vacation spot. Thank you and hoping to post more pics up soon 🙂

Thank you and hmm that’s interesting. Other followers were able to view and I tried again and it worked for me. Maybe try using a different browser. I’ll try to avoid using the slideshow on my next Spain post

This was such a fun post!! I loved seeing all the pictures you took. The architecture is AMAZING!!! I think it’s so funny and cool that they’re still doing work on that cathedral. I wonder what they’d be working on or adding? 🤔 Haha anyway, I’m going to go check out Part Two now!! I love reading others’ travel diaries xx

I never use I cloud but uour so lucky! That’s tragic that happened lovely but it is rife in Barcelona!!!!!! Me and my boyfriend had a few groups eyeing us up and down and were always alert! But it can still happen to the most wisest. They are ever so clever and sneaky! Hope you enjoyed your time anyways but uour pictures are lush!!!!!!!!!

Haha yes you’re right! I was aware of my handbag and was eyeing it every 5 minutes but it just happened in a blink of an eye! I still can’t believe how they took it away right before us and yes they are just so clever. Def a lesson learned now and sooo glad they were saved in the iCloud..God Bless technology haha! Other than that I was still able to enjoy the trip and thank you so much!! Glad you enjoyed my post ❤

Oh, wow! I’ve heard great things about Barcelona! Although now I live so close to Spain, I still have never set foot in the country. Absolutely crazy, if you ask me, hahah. Lovely pictures!! xx

I only had a day to visit Barcelona due to the tight schedule and on top of that lost my bag, but the city is def lovely and really worth visiting! This should def be on your bucket list 🙂

Ahh, do you think you’d want to make a visit again in the future? And yes! It definitely is!! 🙂 I basically want to go everywhere, so “everywhere” is on my bucket list. Haha

Haha def Madrid but not sure about Barcelona after that incident..can never get that in my whole life! Same here, hopefully Australia and New Zealand next on my bucket list 🙂 Which place are you visiting for your summer vacation?

The architecture of Barcelona is quite impressive. I was quite amazed when I saw ‘ Sagrada familia ‘. I also couldn’t go inside because of long waiting line. Great post ✌️

Haha np! I have family in India and visit them every year. Spain was on the way so just thought I could stop by and then go to India! Just loved Madrid! Oh that’s wonderful, lucky you! Wish I could live in Spain 🙂
