Hello to my lovely bloggers! ā¤
Hope you’re all doing well and having a wonderful weekend!
Just finished my final exams for grad school and finally on spring break for a week!! I’m so glad to be done and will be posting more on my blog this upcoming week š
Hope everyone is safe in the East Coast due to powerful storm hitting the area with strong gusty winds!
Today’s post will be another OOTD in which I will be sharing my favorite Indian traditional outfit called the sari! I love wearing sari’s on Indian festive occasions or even to those fun Desi weddings. Sari’s definitely make a Indian girl or any girl very stylish and beautiful š Love the abundant colors that they come in with intricate detailed embroidery on the sari and the blouse!
I wore this gorgeous red & blue sari to my cousin’s wedding a few years ago. I remember I went sari shopping in India and this one totally caught my eye when I first entered the store! You can stitch the blouse in a variety of shapes and designs and decided to do it in a chic way with the halter neck design š
This is a photo of me wearing the sari:
Isn’t the sari just beautiful?! Just really loved the combination of the stone embroidery and the pretty colors of red, blue, and gold. Just had to buy this sari!
These are some of the accessories and jewellery that I wore which I thought it would go so well with the sari:
I thought the earrings would be perfect for the outfit. The statement necklace could work for this sari but it’s I believe that a sari with too many designs look better with a simple necklace.
Matching simple red and blue bangles for the sari:
My gold and silver colored stone clutch:
I finished my look with subtle makeup as always: little bit of loose powder, foundation, light pink blush, and a red bold lip to match the color of my sari ā¤
Hope you guys liked my look and enjoyed my post!
Also, wanted to quickly mention that I reached 1800 followers here on WP!! I can’t thank you guys enough for all the support and love as always & so grateful for you all ā¤ š
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend everyone ā¤
Until next time,
xoxo

My friend bought me a beautiful sari form India and I thought
I would have to sew a blouse for it. What you’re wearing with the sari looks like a vest, now I’m gonna try wear mine like you did yours. You look beautiful btw. Thanks for the post.

Hi there! Sari is such a beautiful Indian dress to wear and yes, you can stitch the blouse in many different ways. The standard one is a blouse that is normal hand sleeve length. You can do long sleeve, short sleeve, halter neck, and many more. There are so many designs you can stitich the blouse if you search them up online and you can wear in any way you want to. The one I did in this one is a halter neck blouse, you can choose this style if you like if you want like a more modern look to it. Aw thank you so much for the wonderful compliment. Means a lot and really happy that you could stop by. Have a lovely day ā¤
