My Poem got published in a Magazine!

Hey everyone!

Hope you all are having a fabulous week and can’t believe August is coming to an end! So some updates about my life: still have been job hunting. It has been frustrating but keeping my hopes up that I will get an offer hopefully in the next 6 months. In the meantime, I have definitely been relaxing and catching up with my sleep for a bit and I’ve been focusing on brushing up my skills and talents (other goals).

As you all know, I had passion for writing ever sine I was a child and enjoy writing poems about nature. One of my goals in my life was to at least publish one or two of my poems in a well known magazine and I have to say that I’m happy that I was able to accomplish my goal 🙂

Last year, I was able to get my Switzerland poem published in a popular South Asian woman magazine called Brown Girl Magazine 🙂

And this year, just got an email that the editior of NatureWriting.com loved my nature poem and decided to publish it on his website!! I’m a beginner at writing poetry so I was just so honored to recieve so much recognition among thousands of professional poets!!

Was elated by the good news that I had received so decided to share it with you all here on WordPress ❤

I’m really hoping to publish a lot more poems in the near future to several magazines out there! Also, I’m trying to expand my writing and have a desire to publish articles of diverse topics to top lifestyle and fashion magazines such as Elle or Marie Claire (which is my next dream) so am hoping that I can accomplish sometime in the future (def next on my bucket list :))

If you guys are interested in publishing your work of writing to magazines, I would def recommend trying Brown Girl Magazine or NatureWriting.com for nature poems and they do consider guest submissions ❤
