Hello my blog family!!

How’s everyone doing? Sometimes, I still can’t believe it’s almost August, wow time just flies doesn’t it?! Just 6 more months to 2020! Just feels like 2019 just started lol. There has been a lot of ups and downs this year so far but am hoping it will get better in the next 6 months and hopefully next year, fingers crossed 🙂

Ok so, today’s post will be a continuation of last post’s Pittsburgh Part 1. If you guys haven’t checked out the post from last week, here is the link below :

Pittsburgh Trip: Part 1 🙂

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

For the second day that I was in Pittsburgh, I attended my friend’s wedding that Sunday morning in this lovely outdoor botanical gardens called the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens which was like a 10 min drive from my hotel.

I have to say that the Botanical Garden was just SO BEAUTIFUL and was really impressed by the architecture and the organization of the garden. It’s located in Schenley Park, Pittsburgh which encompasses 14 acres of land with 14 glasshouses and 23 colorful gardens. It also includes exhibits, shows, tropical forests, historic art, etc. The admission is about $17 for each person to check out the garden and takes a full 90 min to look around.

I felt that it was the most beautiful place and perfect venue to have a memorable and outdoor wedding! The bride and groom were just so lovely and the whole ceremony was just really fun and cute to watch.  Since I love nature, I really enjoyed the conservatory and would def recommend as this is a major and must see attraction if you do visit Pittsburgh ❤️

Duquesne Incline

The next day, I had a few hours to spare before heading back to DC. So thought I could pay a quick visit to the Duquesne Incline. So this is called a Scenic Overlook which has breathtaking views of the entire city of Pittsburgh. You take an incline (similar to a cable car) which requires a ticket of $15 per person to either ride up the peak or down the peak. We parked at the lower station and took the incline up to the observation deck to view the beautiful cityscape. Such a memorable experience and was standing in awe of how amazing the views were from the top! You can see the lovely buildings as well as all of the bridges that make up the city hence called the City of Bridges.

Here are some pictures I captured of the views:

Isn’t it just gorgeous?! It was the perfect day with such a beautiful weather to witness these mesmerizing views..totally out of the world! This is DEF a must see when you guys plan to visit Pittsburgh.

There are some more fun activities to check out in the city but these are the main attractions that are worthwhile and was able to cover on my trip. Pittsburgh is such a lively and beautiful city and really hope that I can visit sometime in the near future again.

Hope you guys enjoyed the post!
