My Indian Bride / Dancer Drawings!

Hi everyone!

Hope you’re having a great month of October! Glad that Fall season has started here and the temperatures are def getting cooler going down to 60 degrees F.  The colors of the leaves have started to change and are just really beautiful here in DC. Sorry I’ve been MIA lately due to a busy work schedule but def trying to catch with posts 😊

I haven’t posted an artwork post for a while so that I could share this with you all. I know my good blogging friends have seen this before but wanted to share this with my fellow new bloggers that I recently connected with!

A few years ago, I realized that I had a hidden talent which was drawing. I started out drawing simple flower designs in my notebook and gradually increased the complexity of my drawings. Since I come from an Indian heritage, I love the Indian culture and how Indian girls look gorgeous in their authentic, classy bridal dresses or how the Indian Classical Dancers look mesmerizing in those gold plated jewelry sets wearing those colorful elegant dance costumes. Since I’m not a bride yet haha but hopefully soon & I’m a classically trained Indian Bharathanatyam Dancer for 12 years, the Indian traditional styles influenced me to learn how to draw the details & intricacies of the Indian fashion of brides/dancers. Here are few of my drawings:

I’ve add these as well as my other drawings into a collection called CreativeDrawing! Feel free to follow @creativedrawing15 on Instagram if you like my drawings🙂

I really hope you enjoyed these and feedback is appreciate as always ❤️

Do you like drawing? What are some of your fave pastimes/hobbies?

Until next time & with lots of love,
