Christmas/New Year OOTD!

 

Hello blog fam!!

Hope the month of Jan is treating you well! I’ve been having a good month so far and have been enjoying the weather here in DC for the past week because it was actually 70 degrees in the winter!! Can you imagine having spring weather in winter?! Def was a great feeling but sad that it’s going to be snowing this weekend.

So I’ve been focusing more on my goals and have started to invest more of my time into my blog and Instagram as I’ve been slacking on this a bit. Hoping to keep my blog schedule and bit more consistent now.

I know it’s been a few weeks so kinda late but wanted to share with you all my OOTD that I chose for Christmas & New Year’s 😊 I’ve been getting feedback that a lot of you have been enjoying my OOTD posts so am hoping to post this and a lot more in the upcoming months.

So let’s take a look at my latest OOTD:

My Outfit

My go-to look and my signature style is always about being simple yet elegant because it reflects my personality. So I chose this really simple bold black pencil maxi dress. I got this dress from Forever 21 just for $15. I really like this dress even though it’s simple because it really accentuates my curves and gives just a hint of cleavage which is perfect for a night out or for an occasion.

Accessories

For my jewellery, I chose this gorgeous brown/gold statement necklace that I thought it would really nicely complement the dress. I got this necklace from Macy’s for just $12 on sale and just love it the details and stones!!

For my earrings, I always go with hoop earrings so just chose these simple yet glam earrings that I thought would go well with the necklace.

I also chose this dazzling black & silver stoned clutch/purse that I thought will be really nice to add a spark to my look.

Nails

Did my own nails where I did a Christmas nail art to complement my outfit and to get into the holiday spirit!

Makeup

I finished my look with some simple yet elegant look where I applied:

1. Tinted moisturizer

2.  Loose powder

3.  Winged eye

4. Neutral eyeshadow

5. Gold highlighter

6. Bold red lip
